This Privacy Policy explains how Valtik Studios LLC ("Valtik", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use Lokd.ai and any related websites, applications, and services (collectively, the "Services").

1. Information We Collect

Account and Profile Information

  • Email address, username, and account identifiers
  • Profile information you provide (for example: profile photo, optional phone number, optional age and gender, and onboarding selections)

Content You Create and Share

  • Goals, progress/check-ins, and related metadata
  • Group participation, invitations, shared goals, and in-app messages

Budget and Financial Information You Enter

The Services may allow you to enter budgeting information (for example: income sources, recurring bills, transactions you log, and account balances) to help you track your finances and progress. We do not collect your banking login credentials through the Services.

AI Interactions

If you use AI features, we collect the prompts and messages you submit, and the AI-generated responses. We may also create summaries or memory-style records to help the experience feel consistent over time.

Usage and Device Data

  • App usage and performance data (for example: feature usage, basic diagnostics, and error logs)
  • Device and connection information (for example: device model, OS version, and language settings)

2. Legal Basis for Processing

We collect and process your personal information based on the following legal grounds:

  • Consent: When you create an account, use certain features, or opt in to communications, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this Policy.

  • Service providers: We use third-party providers to help operate the Services, such as hosting, databases, storage, authentication, payments, and AI processing (for example: Supabase, Stripe, Superwall, and OpenAI).
  • Notifications: If you enable push notifications, delivery may be facilitated by platform providers (for example, Apple and Google). We may also send in-app notifications.
  • Legal and safety: We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to comply with the law, protect safety, enforce our Terms, or prevent fraud and abuse.
  • Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

If you choose to display additional information (for example, net worth on a public profile), it may be visible to others based on the feature design.

  • Provide the Services and maintain your account
  • Comply with legal obligations (such as tax and accounting requirements)
  • Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements
  • Maintain security and prevent fraud

Generally, we retain active account data for the duration of your account. After account deletion, we may retain certain information for up to 3 years for legal, security, and compliance purposes. Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us, subject to legal and operational requirements.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No security system is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate.   • Right to Delete: You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.

  • Right to Opt-Out: You have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA.

In the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (such as email and username); commercial information (such as subscription history); internet or network activity (such as app usage data); geolocation data (general location based on IP address); and inferences drawn from the above.

12. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for users who are at least 13 years old. Users between 13 and 18 years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction) may use the Services only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible.
